Huatulco: A Paradise To Visit

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Are you planning for a vacation? If that’s the case, then you need to visit Huatulco! This city of paradise is situated in the Oaxaca state. To be more specific, it is situated on the south pacific coast of Mexico. This is the same place where the nine dazzling bays of luminous, indigo waters are found. Ok fine, by this time you may have developed a desire to be at this place. Now the question is name the first thing that strikes your mind when you visit this place. Well, I don’t know what will appeal to you the most, but in my case, it is the thirty six pristine beaches.
Even till the 1980s, the group of nine interlocking bays comprised of nothing but a fishing village. It didn’t have any source of electricity or water and one can only access it through a dirty path. The land is formed through a rugged Sierra Madre del Sur that abuts the Pacific for creating sandy coves. The remarkable La Crucecita is a lively village that is good for restaurants and bars together with budget hotels.
In the year 1983, the first six lane road network as well as luxury hotels were brought into the forefront. This was soon followed by a marina, golf course as well as an airport. However, some still hold the opinion that Huatulco stays an underdeveloped tourism spot. Till date, there are only three properly developed bays namely- Tangolunda, Chahue and Santa Cruz. So, why waste time, just go ahead and have a blast!
